33 participants from all over the world entered the World Cup Tasting Championships to find the wrong one in eight sets, each consisting of three coffees. From all in all 19 different blends, the participants had to qualify themselves for the semi finals and later on for the finals in which only the best 4 were to compete. Until the last cup, the finalists carried out thrilling head to head race, resulting in Russia's Valentina Kazachkova coming in 1st, Bard van Sanden from Belgium coming in 2nd, Ejiro Goto from Japan coming in 3rd and America's Ben Kaminsky coming in 4th.
