cafedvineImagine the rich flavors of estate-grown Arabica and Tipica coffee infused with the aromatics and smooth, round flavors from vintage red wines – this is Café d’Vine.  This unique line of wine-infused coffee has re-energized the specialty coffee category, marrying two luxurious, well-loved flavors into one perfectly balanced cup of coffee.

Organic Beans from Peru and Premier Wine Varietals from Napa-Sonoma
Café d’Vine uses a blend of Arabica Bourbon-Caturra and distinctive old-growth Tipica coffee beans that have been hand-harvested from sustainably-managed estates located in the high mountains of Peru.  This ideal microclimate produces consistently perfect crops of the finest quality coffee.  The fair trade beans are shade grown, certified organic and carry the stamp of approval from both the Rainforest Alliance and the Bird Friendly Shade Coffee organization, making the blend as environmentally conscious as it is delicious.

Café d’Vine comes in three varietal flavors – Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon – and uses grapes from premier vineyards in California’s Napa and Sonoma regions, including Sterling, Mondavi, Beringer, Chalk Hill, Chateau St. Jean and Gallo.

A Proprietary Infusion Process and Stylish Packaging
Café d’Vine is not a “flavored” coffee -- it is an intense infusion of flavors and aromas.  First, the beans are custom roasted according to recipes that have been specifically paired to each of the wine varietals.  The next step is the infusion, a carefully timed, two-stage process accomplished through the patented technology developed by Café d’Vine’s creator Michael Medici.  This procedure allows the beans to absorb and capture the essential oils, anti-oxidants, fruit sugars and aromas of the wine while also removing all of the alcohol.  The beans then undergo a precision grinding to assure that they retain the wine’s characteristics, flavors and aromatic content.

Café d’Vine is packaged in a hermetically sealed sleeve and then placed into its stylish silver canister with signature wine-red cap.  Once the bag of coffee has been opened, the coffee can be poured into the beautiful canister and displayed right on your counter top.

Perfect Afternoon Luxury or Post Dinner Finale
Food and wine lovers will appreciate the rich, elegant flavor of Café d’Vine as a luxurious afternoon treat and as a natural transition from wine at dinner.  Its sophisticated flavor and container make it a natural choice as a hostess gift and an appreciated addition to a gift basket.

Café d’Vine is currently arriving in regional markets across the United States.  It can be found at select Whole Foods Markets, Hiller’s Markets and Farm Fresh shops.  Consumers can also purchase the gourmet blend at www.cafedvine.com for $12 a half pound.
